Pair #2 - Blue Head Parents of the 5 Babies.
Hatch dates are 6/6, 6/7, 6/9, 6/11, 6/15.
This Blue Head hen has 5 chicks in her nest. She is a good Mama and feeds
very
well with the Dad's help and they are very a tentative!

This is 4 out of the 5 Blue Heads that were brought in the house as
the 5th chick was left in the nest being the youngest he could be still
fed a bit longer by the parents for another few days.
3 of the 4 Blue Heads were banded today, the 4th chick was a bit
too small yet so he will be banded in few days and the 5th chick
in nest will be banded when brought in to put with its nest mates.

Here are 4 of the Blue Heads, one still remains out in the nest at this time.
These 4 BH's are 23, 22, 21, 19 days old in these 3 photos.
They sit here in this little tub after I have fed them before I put them back in
the brooder.
The 5th chick will most likely be in the next set of photos that I show in a few
days.
