DO NOT USE THESE TYPE OF PLASTIC BALL FOR A BIRD TOY

These type of balls are meant for children. They are unsafe for birds.

They are flexible and a larger type bird could very easily get a toe or foot caught
between the opened areas.  I bought a couple of these balls to check out to use,
but after a lot of consideration they have proven to me not to be safe for birds to have.
These balls look interesting and look like they would be fun as a bird toy but I believe
you're asking for trouble. . . trouble for your bird.  Unless you are sitting right in front
of your bird while it is being played with as a foot toy, I would not ever use it as a hanging
toy in the cage with the bird unsupervised in the cage especially while you are away.

I have seen these type of balls being sold  as  bird toys.
Whiffle Balls are meant for people as well but the whiffle Ball
 not is not a threat like these other balls could be.

They should not be used to give to your birds.
Please DO NOT buy these type of balls for birds.
