Tom Roudybush formulates Roudybush diets.
Mr. Roudybush has studied, researched, and
taught avian nutrition for 25 years and is the
quintessential avian nutrition expert.

Roudybush  contain essential vitamins
and minerals thus preventing selective eating
and poor nutrition.

Roudybush  are 100% edible. 20-70% of seed mix is waste.
Obtaining a balanced diet with seed is dependent on
what the bird selects to eat of the offering.  Birds will
likely choose the high fat seeds first leaving the
important nutrients in the dish or on the bottom of the cage.

Roudybush  products are formulated for specific birds.

Roudybush uses no animal byproducts.

Roudybush  contains no artificial colors or flavors.

ROUDYBUSH PELLETS - BETTER THAN SEEDS

Birds tend to eat their favorite things in a seeded diet, sometimes leaving the nutritious seeds behind only to be dumped out.  Many people do not realize that seeded diets that contain a lot of Sunflower Seeds are very fattening, this results in a bird gaining weight.  Birds tend not to be too healthy when fed a diet of  too much Sunflower seeds.

Feed Roudybush Pellets along with fruits and veggies, keeping the diet well balanced.
Feeding pellets or seed alone is not enough for a bird's diet.  Keep Roudybush pellets in the cage at all times as a bird will often snack. Remove fruit/veggies after a three hour period to keep bird from eating spoiled soft foods.

The Roudybush Pellet diet is very nutritious and less waste overall.  Converting your bird on to the Roudybush Pellet is easy to do, just slowly add a small amount into the seed that you are currently giving your bird now, and over a 3 week period keep giving your bird  more pellets and less seed until the bird is completely on the pellets.  Some birds adjust more quickly than others but eventually your bird will require a taste for these fine pellets.

At Pionus Parrot - we use the Roudybush Pellets once again.  A couple of years ago we stopped using them for a while, but when we used other brands of pellets our birds did not eat the other pellets like they did the Roudybush Pellets.  Our birds are happy to be back on the Roudybush Pellets again and our birds are doing better now overall. Use along with the rest of your bird's diet. Give them a try, doing your bird the favor of trying them is one thing you won't regret and your bird can live a long and healthy, happy life.
