Hand Weaning Foods are not only for weaning baby birds, it is a food that you can keep on feeding to your bird through out its life.  This is how I  feed these to my older parrots:

I give these to some of birds in the morning and at night. I give them two each. These are meant to serve warm to your bird.  I take a small bowl and heat up about 1/3 to 1/2 cup water until hot in the microwave, add the weaning pellets to the water and let sit for about 2 minutes or until soft.  They will fall apart easily so be careful as you drain the excess water off.  I hold a large tablespoon in front of the pellets to drain off the water and then I place two in the bowl on top of the Scenic Jungle Food or Beak Appetit or you can give them what ever else they like to eat and then place the weaning pellets on top. My birds immediately devour these with no hesitation, they love them.  If your bird is not use to them they may take a few times before they begin to like them.
