I've been using Safflower seeds as Raven's new positive reinforcement treats now that I've noticed how much he loves them. They're the best things I've found for him. I like that they're small enough to not be "too much" at one time. One little bite, but that's all he needs  :). Raven is the only parrot I've had (out of 7 species) who didn't just step right up willingly.

I just hope that he doesn't "change" too drastically after maturity is all.

That's great that you've found a treat that Raven really likes!  :yummy:  I guess all animals grow up but they never stop learning.

Hi Maxsmom  :hello1: Good to see you too!  I know - what must have I been thinking in taking in three zons???  My life seems to be a non stop circle of food preparation, cooking and cleaning!  :vacuum: :clotheswash: :mop: :dishwash:  Just wish I had more time to  :smilie_bett:
