Hi I have a white capped (different fron white headed which is rare in USA) and a Maxi hybrid. Try finding The Practical Pionus by Russ Shade on Amazon or eBay. From photos in link looks like 2 Maxi and a cute budgie. Is the other Maxi visiting? From your avatar looks like you have a white capped rather than a white head. Are your two pionus parrots male or female? Looks like they get along well.

It is obvious you provide a wonderful home for your birds.  They look so well socialized and seem to really get along well.  My WCP is a few months older than yours.  He turns one in a week.

I ordered the book from the site and it did take a couple of months for it to get here. Well worth the wait.

I never got a response from contacting the website but just sent a check and got The Practical Pionus book in about a month but I dont know about overseas shipping.  The e-mail address I have for him (as of 4 months ago) is rshade@fusemail.com so maybe you can try e-mailing him to ask

Yep, we've all been known to miss our birds while away from home even if it is for the day!

Welcome aboard!  It will be nice to learn more on your birdies!
