Are there bird rescues?

I just posted an inquiry on another forum. If I get a response I will let you know.

Best wishes

Well if Fuzzy ever rejoins here she has a Blue head and is in your country or you can check out AA as she posts there quite a bit.

Welcome and hope you find one.  :hello1: I find the Maxis are the most like amazons, but am sure if they are introduced slowly any type will have a very good likelihood of getting along.

Hi Elaine and  :schild27:  Yep I'm from the UK too and I think I have just given some names and phone numbers to Momazon to pass on to you.  It's a small world!  :icon_mrgreen:

From Fuzzy:

I have the names of some breeders (hand reared babies).  This was 5/6 years ago:

There's Pauline Cruse in Wiltshire 07721 936 908 - she has Blue-headed Pionus.  I had my name down for one of her babies but she had a bad year and I found Kobe instead.

There is Shirley and George in Northampton - Home: 01604 740 163  Mobile: 07733 334 422 - they have Maxi's - sometimes can get a hold of Blue-headed.

There's Terry Munden, who lives in Colchester, Essex.  But I have lost his number and he seems to have removed his website.  He had Blue-headed Pionus.

She could try contacting Riverside Aviaries in Norfolk - sometimes they have Pionus

Hi Momazon - What do you mean Maxi's are most like Amazons? Just curious.
